MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION                 
The purpose of SPaN is to develop and promote a functioning and supportive network of child advocates who work with families of children and young adults with disabilities. The organization provides continuing education opportunities and professional information to our members and community at large.

Membership entitles you to attend SPaN's Professional Development programs and events for a reduced fee,  access the Members Only page and additional mailings and resources. For an additional fee, you can be listed in our Professional Directory on the web site and in hard copy.     Deadline for initial listing is August 1, for 12 months. Listings received thereafter will be updated monthly at the same rate.   If you preferr to mail in your membership application with a check, click on the link below to print out a paper copy.

SPaN is an independent non-profit organization. The financial needs are primarily met through membership and training sessions. The volunteer efforts of the members have provided the leadership, direction, and support that have sustained this organization for 20 years. Please consider how you may support, contribute, and volunteer to continue the SPaN mission to promote and protect the rights of children and young adults with disabilities. The diverse professional expertise and talents of SPaN membership is recognized and often under utilized.              

Immediate membership benefits include:
          • Reduced fees for attendance at SPaN Professional Development workshops
          • Opportunities to meet and network with other Advocates and Professionals
          • Access to the Members Only section of the website
          • Professional Directory  Listing 
          • A wide variety of resources and opportunities

SPaN's membership year runs from August 1 to July 31 annually. 

Membership Rates:

  • Individual Membership $50.00                                                              
  • Individual Membership with Professional Directory Listing $125.00
  • Group Membership (2-3 Individuals) $75.00  
  • Group Membership with Professional Directory Listing $200.00  This includes 2 -3 individual directory listings.
  • Agency (4-6 individuals) Membership $200.00 
  • Agency (4-6) with Professional Directory Listing $325.00  This includes  one (1) Agency listing.
