Workshop Refund Policy

  •
    • No cash refunds will be offered for pre-registration if a workshop is held
    • If a pre-registrant provides a written request at least one week prior to the scheduled workshop the registration fee can be applied to an upcoming workshop in the same workshop year (September - May).
    • If a workshop is cancelled then registrants can either have a refund or apply payment to an upcoming workshop.

SPAN is a 503(c) organizations and donations to us are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If it's past the deadline for applying your payment to another workshop within the September-April programming year, you may want to consider donating your seat. You would receive a tax deduction, and SPAN would offer a free seat to an organization such as the Special Education Surrogate Parent Program (SESPP).

The children served by the SESPP often have complex and severe needs. By offering additional training to the volunteers who help them, your unused seat could truly make a difference.
